You’d better practice your giddy ups, yeehaws, and other such noises you make in order to get a beast of burden to carry you forward because the early access survival sandbox Bellwright is going to bring horses to the game sometime soon. We’re not sure when, but we can confirm that there will be honse.
The trailer, which debuted at this year’s Gamescom, offers some in-game footage of characters riding through the wilds of the game on horseback while promising that the ability to mount up is “closer than you think.” That’s kind of about all that we’re getting for now, but you can dream of horseback rides by watching the trailer below.
Meanwhile the game’s most recent hotfix is almost exclusively full of fixes, addressing problems with reading books, visual oddness when constructing a foraging hut, resource oddness, and crashes while fishing or traveling between maps. That last one seems important considering horses are coming.
