If you’re among those who are trying to survive in the harshness of EVE Frontier’s blockchain space, then you likely already know about changes made to the survival MMO this week. If you happen to be on the outside looking in, then know that there were changes made to the survival MMO this week. Not many major ones, but enough that they’re definitely worth noting either way.
Much of what’s been done in the game has been about adjustment: Network nodes, gates, and catapults have had transponders added to them that owners can turn on; initial tutorial steps have been refined; terminology for several status effects has been updated; and a host of balance changes have been made to various items like needles, the stuttergun magazine, and the hull repairer.
Other additions of note include a new leaderboard feature at keep monitors that let players track their grace points, and a new module in the form of the Blackstart Cell, which lets players refuel their spacecraft while it’s in direct sunlight of a star, though Fenris Creations does point out that this item only fills a share of the cell’s capacitor. Basically, check your fuel while you’re flying out there; this thing is not a get out of jail free card.
