Join Now!Earlier in the month, independent Ukrainian developer Twigames and publisher Crunchy Leaf Games announced that their narrative survival role-playing game title ‘Hollow Home’ will launch across PC via Steam and Xbox platforms on 27 January 2027. A demo is available on Steam for your perusal and Wishlisting, by the way.
Inspired by ‘Disco Elysium’ and ‘This War of Mine’, Hollow Home puts the player in the role of Maksym, a 14-year-old boy alone in a city under siege, trying to survive.
In Hollow Home, there are no weapons, no battles, no combat. Instead, Maksym faces impossible choices and challenges no teenager should face. The weight of a life dismantled, the impact of war on those living in it and the moral cost of every small choice. Relationships are key. The people Maksym meets can help him get through each day, and every conversation can change what happens next. Maksym will have to make choices and learn to live with the consequences.
Features:
- Deep dialogue and branching questlines that shape a story with multiple endings. Every character has a story, every conversation is a choice that may carry a heavy weight, shaping the world and yourself. You will have to prioritise, sacrifice and decide what and who matters most.
- A city that changes with each passing day. Three explorable districts, shaped by the siege.
- No weapons, no battles. Your biggest challenges are moral decisions based on human connections with the characters you meet along your journey.
- Made in Ukraine. Developed by Twigames in Kyiv, a team living through the same war and researching the stories of those who survived the siege.
